There are two races this year. The long race is 11.5
miles and is the same route as in 2009.
The short race is 5 miles and uses the beginning and end
portions of the long race.
Both races will be run at the same time and the start
and finish will be the same.
There will be 3 water stops for the long race and 2 for
the short race. There wil be post race fruit, beverages and a random
draw.
There will be a new race category this year, The French
River Watershed award. The first male and female finisher from the
combined towns of Leicester, Oxford, Webster, Dudley and Thompson will
win a special prize.
The Course Description
Bicycle and GPS measured, well marked rolling course
covering a variety of terrian in the Army Corps of Engineers Flood
Control Project. Its about 11.5 miles long, through woods, water, and
uneven ground. The forest has been logged during the winter and the
course will be slightly different this year. Click here for long race

Bike Raffle
This will be the last chance
to participate in the French River Connection's raffle for a
Specialized Carmel 700 men's
or women' bike, provided by Southbridge Bicycle and
sized for the winner. The
drawing will be following the race. Approximately 300 tickets
have already been sold. The bike is a
$390 value. Tickets will be on sale at the race for $5.00, or 3 for
